Everyday I am made more and more keenly aware that my kiddos are growing up.
Lately Emmaline has been the one to grow up all at once.
For the longest time, she's had her own way of (mis)pronouncing certain words. I always loved it whenever she would use these words because she sounded so cute saying it wrong and it reassured me that she was still LITTLE.
However, I've started to notice that without any fanfare, she's starting to say things the right way. "Opaloo" has now become "oatmeal" and "baby-suit" has been replaced by "bathing suit".
And it is bittersweet.
I love that she is growing. I love the little person she has become, so full of spunk, life, and joy.
But I'm also going to miss her babyhood.
I want her to continue saying things like "bed-night time" forever.
*sigh*
They grow up so fast.
