Disney Part 5: YES Program and EPCOT!

Monday was a bit of a "sleep in" day for everyone else but the two older girls and I were up bright and EARLY to make it on time for our YES program class (I'll go into further detail about this in another post).

So the three of us got ready and headed out to start our day. We had to be at Epcot by 8:45 in the morning.  Bethany, Michael and Oliver decided to spend their morning at one of the waterparks. Matt, Emmaline and Max all stayed home and slept in!

Waiting on our YES class to start.

After completing our YES class, we had a chance to meet Stitch.

Then  the girls and I headed over to world showcase, stopping to take a photo in front of the Phineas and Ferb topiaries,

and made our way to the Kingrela bakery in Norway to have a snack of some school bread and chocolate mousse. Both were really yummy.

After our snack, we headed back to the room for our midday rest. We had lunch and the littles napped.

The cousins sitting in Oliver's ride together!

This day also happened to be Michael and Bethany's date night, so Oliver would head back into the parks with the grandparents and our family while his mommy and daddy had a nice meal together.

Once back at Epcot for the evening, we hopped on Spaceship Earth and then we ate dinner at Sunshine Seasons.  Just as we were finishing up Micheal and Bethany joined us, a happy surprise! We then went on Living with the Land and mosied over to The Seas with Finding Nemo. We went on that ride and poked around the aquariums for a little bit, but by this time Epcot was getting ready to close. However, because Test Track was undergoing a refurbishment, they were keeping parts of "The Land" open later, like the ride Soarin'. So we skipped back over there to ride that. It was also raining this night. So glad we had our ponchos!

After riding on Soarin', it was time to head back to the hotel room. We had spent yet another super late night in the parks instead of tucking in early. I was starting to be really thankful that I had purposely started "training" my kids to stay up later by pushing their bedtimes back before we went on the trip!
