It has been raining all day long today and should continue to rain for the next few days. It's nice actually getting some rain for a change and seeing the temperatures drop from the usual 90 degrees!
Earlier this morning Matt scampered off to Summer Moon Coffee Shop to get some work done while the girls and I piddled around the house. I did a little bit of laundry and the girls got to watch Saturday morning cartoons in their pjs.
Later on after Matt got back home, I went grocery shopping. I LOVE Newflower Farmer's Market because they always have some really good sales on produce and today they had several varieties of apples on sale for $0.39/lb! I also got some lettuce and red bell peppers on sale.
One thing that Saturday night means is bath night for the girls. I ALWAYS give them a bath on this night so they will be fresh and rosy for church the next morning. Right before I gave Adrianne her bath, I cut her hair. Short. Matt doesn't like it one bit, but I had to do something because lately she had been chewing on it and then it would become a sticky mess and impossible to comb. So short hair it will be for now. The nice thing about hair is that it grows rather quickly and hopefully by the time it grows out enough for her to be able to get it in her mouth to chew on, the habit will be broken and she won't do it any more. I guess we'll see!

Picture of the new 'do??? ; )
We had rain for 10 straight days a few weeks ago. It was no fun. The first few days were relaxing and we just stayed in, but after that we got cabin fever. I sit for 4 kids afterschool, so plus Gracie & Mary Faith I had 6 kids in our tiny house for almost a week straight! I was ready to send them (all but Gracie &Mary Faith) to play in the rain!
Good grief Shelia, 10 days of rain and 6 kiddos to watch? You ARE a saint! I would have wanted to boot them out too - although I have a feeling all the kids would have thought it was fun!)
Oh and pic of Adrianne's new hair coming soon!
