FALL!

For heaven's sake where on earth is this year going????

But October means that it's also FALL and all the delightful things that brings with it.

Since we've moved here, I highly doubt that I will experience autumn in all it's glory like I did when we were still living in NC where it actually changed temperatures and the leaves changed the most dramatic colors before they fell from the trees. So I shall have to live vicariously through by blog's background, and will probably change it a few times for some variety, so check back often.

One of the things I really like about fall is that it brings us that much closer to CHRISTMAS. Yes, I'm already getting the itch to start working on that! I know it's very early, however this year I plan on actually making most of the gifts our family gives so I will need time to actually MAKE the things (not to mention plan, gather supplies, decide that the current project I'm working on is beyond recovering and start over, etc.). I've already been scouring the internet and coming up with some fantastic ideas for those on our list. The thing that bums me out the most is that I won't actually be able to post on here about all the projects I'll be working on, since it's highly likely that someone reading my blog will be the recipient of some of the gifts. Oh well, perhaps I will have to make a collage of some sort to document what I did and post it after all the gift-giving has ended.

At any rate, I expect things to only get busier from here on out.
