I know, I know!

Gosh it's seems like FOREVER since I've actually posted an update.

We had such an amazing week (and a half!) with Michael and Bethany while they were here. The girls were so sad to see them leave and keep asking when they will get to see their aunt and uncle again.

Oh and because I promised Bethany I would mention it, let the public record show that the GIRLS are the victorious Euchre players of the tournament and totally wiped up those snotty boys we were playing against.

Well, after Mike and Bethany left, it took me a few days to get the house back in order and caught up on laundry and cleaning. I've been trying to keep the house from getting too out of hand again, since we'll have more company in about a week (which we are SO looking forward to!).

And then Riley had her birthday! My little Riley-Roo is now FOUR!!!! I can't believe it! She had a wonderful birthday and felt so loved by all the people who sent birthday presents, cards and wishes. She was so excited to get to see both sets of grandparents and her uncle Mikey and aunt Bethany on computer-conference. She got TONS of presents, and has so far been really good at sharing with her sister. With all the new toys floating around the house, I feel like a toy-bomb exploded. But the girls have also been pretty good about cleaning up after themselves. Mostly because I told them any toys they leave out I'm confiscating!

One of Riley's favorite things she got was this card from my aunt (so it would be her great-aunt) Cindy. It's a card with the little mermaid on it, and when you open it up it sings the beginning to "Part of Your World". She LOVES this card and has carried it around everywhere since she got it. I've even been able to use the card as leverage to get her to do things. ("If you don't hurry up and finish your lunch, I'm going to take your card away." I know, bad mom, but she eats like a bird during lunch time and would always rather be playing! I have to get food into her somehow as she's already a little pipsqueak!)
