Our Big Weekend

We had a pretty big weekend. On Saturday, we met up with my uncle Rick and his wife, Adrianna. I haven't seen my uncle Rick in a couple of years so it was nice to get to see him again. He and Adrianna moved here a few years ago so they are a little more familiar with the area than we are.

First we went to one of the farmer's markets together. It was nice walking around and seeing what all the local farmers had available and what other people have crafted. The girls had a good time too. They ate Popsicles and got to jump in a moon bounce.

After that, we went back to my uncle Rick's house to go swimming. They live in a very nice neighborhood that has a community swimming pool. The girls had so much fun swimming in a "real" pool and Emmaline even had her first time going swimming! At first she didn't like it very much because the water was a little colder than she is used to, but once she realized that she could splash around in it, she really enjoyed herself. Riley had a good time playing in the water and swimming around with her floaties. Adrianne picked up right where she left off last summer and was swimming around and jumping in the pool. She's such a little fish! Here's a few pictures of the girls at the pool.
