I forgot to mention earlier......
Emmaline now has her first tooth. It's still just peeking out from under her gums, but it's undeniably broken through. I noticed it the day before our family came into town (so a little over a week ago). It's always so funny when babies cut their first tooth because that little sucker is SO sharp and jagged! (and WHITE!) I have to say, she has been WONDERFUL the whole time and I really didn't even notice any increase in fussiness from her. She is SUCH a good baby!
Emmaline also tried her first "solid" food while our family was visiting. Her first food to try was green peas and I'm not sure she really knows what to think of this new experience of eating. She smiles really big when she's just sitting there, I guess because she feels like such a big girl, however she makes the cutest "yuck" faces when I actually stick the food in her mouth! Silly girl. But I remember my other two girls did the same thing. It's a work in progress
