Little Linda

When you have little kids, it's really common for people to make comments like, "She looks just like YOU."

Sometimes, people can't make up their mind who our children look like. Usually, the stumper is Riley.

And the reason is because she looks just like her grandmother, Linda. It's not always obvious when you are just looking at her, but I see so much of my mother-in-law's smiling face shine through, especially when I'm looking at photos of Riley.



She even has her grandmother's wild, unruly, hair:




It's uncanny that she can make the exact same faces and mannerisms as Linda, as well:




Oddly enough, this particular picture reminds me of photos I've seen of MICHAEL as a boy:




Even though the family resemblance is strong, in the end, she still is my lovable Riley-Roo.
