Well, our busy week is already over halfway over. Even though it's been a challenge to get everything that needed to be done, done, I feel good that we've kept on track!
It's almost tax return time, which means that right now I'm in the process of planning and researching out what we'd like to use for our homeschool curriculum over the next year. It's always such a daunting task because Matt and I really understand the importance of the quality of our children's education, and how a good school curriculum helps contribute to that. However, sometimes the good curricula can be expensive, so it's often a matter of trying to search out what will offer us the most bang for our buck.
Whenever I'm researching out options for curriculum, I'm always forced to really think ahead and figure out what goals and objectives I have for the girls over the course of the next year, which I'm not really used to doing on a daily basis. It's just too easy for me to get caught up in the day to day of it all, so I know it is actually really good for me to do the long range planning where the focus is the end result.
