Little updates

We had Mops this morning and it was nice getting to see all my fellow mom-friends and catch up with them after the holidays.

Today is bean cooking day around here. I've got about 4lbs that I'm trying to get cooked, portioned, and in the freezer. I don't particularly LIKE cooking dried beans, but the savings make it worth it.

You may have noticed on the side bar, but Emmaline is now sleeping in her toddler bed full time. Overall, she's done really well with the transition at night, but nap-times have been a whole other story. Emmaline just does not want to stay in bed. I'm guessing mostly it's because she doesn't want to take a nap! So we've had some battles over that.

Max has learned a new trick! He can now get his hands/fingers/fist in his mouth whenever he wants! So he spends about 50% of his time happily sucking away at his fingers now. He is becoming quite the little thumb sucker! (By the way, in case you were wondering, he spends the other 50% of the time either eating or sleeping.)

Tomorrow's agenda? Shot day.
