Adrianne and Riley had their friend, Aria, spend the night last night. So far the kids have been running around and MOSTLY playing nicely (I have had to referee a few fights when the older two were trying to exclude Riley from the games).
Last night I made my very first pizza from scratch! It turned out pretty yummy so I think I will be doing it again. Then this morning I made the girls pancakes for breakfast and made some extras for freezing. I LOVE having frozen pancakes available for breakfast and I had been wanting to cook some for a while, so this was a good opportunity to do so.
Matt technically has today off for MLK Day, but he, of course, is at school working . I know it's a GOOD thing that he is so hard working and such a dedicated teacher, but some days the wife part of me just wishes he would be just a tad bit less industrious.
