Today's First

Every now and then, in the midst of the chaos that usually is life, comes a precious moment that you just want to sit back and savor.

As I was sitting at my computer, catching up on email and other things, I looked up to my three girls huddled around a single coloring book, the pages a rainbow of colors.

It was so sweet.

There were three of the most important people in my life happily playing with one another. Even Emmaline would stop her crayon collecting to swipe the page a couple of times with her color of choice: her first time coloring.

There was no fighting, no yelling, no tears or accusations because "She's NOT sharing!", no having to interrupt because the crayons were being eaten. Only giggles and grins.

It was bliss.

I am SO blessed.
