Today was very rainy. There were times when it was raining so hard it looked like a waterfall coming off our roof. Several times thunderstoms passed by and I had to keep reassuring Riley that the thunder was just noise and nothing to be afraid of. Finally she started telling the thunder to "be quiet!" Towards the end of the day, the sun finally came out for a little while.
Emmaline was rather fussy today. I think her little legs were sore from the shots yesterday because every time I would move her or change her diaper, she would start to do the saddest little cry. But I think she is finally starting to feel better.
Since we didn't really do to much today, the girls had a movie night where they ate popcorn (or "pock-corn" as they call it) and watched Bolt. This is currently their new favorite movie, and they like to pretend that they are the characters in the story. Usually Riley pretends she is Bolt and she has to save Adrianne (or "Penney") from Dr. Calico. It's actually pretty funny to watch.
