Pets Post

Some of you may be wondering how our pets are doing, so I thought that I'd do a post about them. So far, they both seem to be settling in. Mozart likes having his own yard to run around in. There are a couple of dogs next door that always growl at him when he is playing outside, so at first he was really nervous. But now he has gotten used to them and has learned to ignore them. Our neighborhood is great for walking around, so Mozart really enjoys it when we go out for walks. Sometimes I grab Emmaline and stick her in the stroller and out we go! But all this play time can lead to:

Yup, that's right, one tuckered out pup! But as the old saying goes, "A tired dog is a GOOD dog".

Mr. Bubbles on the other hand is having more of a rough time. Before we moved, he had a very cushy 5-gal tank he called home. There was plenty of room to swim around in, it was filtered so the water stayed clean, and heck I was even going to add some plants to it once we got settled into our new home. However that was not meant to be. Tragically, his former pad now looks like this:

Yes, the fish tank was the ONLY thing that didn't make it down here in one piece. Everything else made it down just fine. Poor Mr. Bubbles. But he seems to be doing alright, just hanging out now in a smaller bowl (this is the bowl that he traveled here in too, by the way).

So that's how the rest of the family is getting along in our new home.
