Little Artist

Adrianne has become quite the little artist lately. She will spend several hours just working on drawing something. She's actually starting to get really good at copying the images. She's definitely better than I am at drawing. Here's a picture of the Bolt movie, along with Adrianne's drawing of it:

See. Pretty good, huh? She drew the picture of the dog, the hamster in the running ball, and wrote the title of the movie. Matt helped her by drawing the rest. Here's a couple more that she's done:

"A pirate for uncle Mikey"

I'm not really sure WHY she decided to draw this pirate, but she made him "extra scary". Then she drew a picture for her Grandpa Trevor and Grandma Linda....it's got Adrianne and her sisters along with a picture of Grandpa and Grandma.

"The hearts show how much we all love each other."

She's such a funny kid!

Today Matt took his practice TExES exam....he did pretty well, but feels like he now has a better idea of what he should be studying. While he was busy doing that, the girls and I went out to Newflower Farmer's Market and to the local grocery store. I really liked Newflower's. It was more like a regular grocery store than an actual farmer's market, but they had some really good prices on produce. Plus it gave us a chance to get a little further away from home than we had been before.
