Facing Reality

Sometimes it's just right to call a spade a spade.

Reading this blog is like being in an abusive relationship.

I post. You read. We are both happy.

Then I get sidetracked with life and wander off.

You come back (sometimes daily) and continue to check and see if I have posted anything new to read. Meanwhile, I'm off gallivanting about the world having fun without you and not including you in any of it.

Eventually (sometimes after months and months and MONTHS) I come back. I promise I'm going to change. Things will be better. I'll stick around and post, just give me another chance! This time will be different, I PROMISE.

You forgive me.

And I post again.

For a while at least.

And so the cycle starts again........


Obviously, I am not good at keeping up with this blog. And I don't really have any GOOD excuse for not doing so.  So, this time, I am going to apologize but NOT promise to change.  I have no clue whether or not I'll post with any sort of regularity.  I'm so sorry I can't offer you more, however I don't want to keep stringing you along.

Thanks for understanding, and reading a long despite my inadequacies.
