About a week ago, I weaned Maxton off of his pacifier. As it was, he was only given it to use at nap and night time, so dropping it altogether wasn't too big of an ordeal. There were minimal tears shed and he seems to have adjusted quickly to falling asleep without it.
But I feel a little twinge of sadness with this milestone because I it reminds me that my baby days are numbered, and all too soon I will be saying "goodbye" to this season of my life forever.
However, here's to the future and whatever that may hold!
