Waiting......

Yesterday was Matt's last day of teaching institute. As of today, he is back to being simply unemployed! Matt really enjoyed the teaching institute and participating in all the TTF activities. He made lots of new friends and connections that hopefully will help him as he moves into his new role as a teacher.

Since yesterday was the last day of Matt's classes, everyone from the institute was invited to go see a Round Rock Express game (minor league baseball farm team for the Huston Astros). Since the game was so late, he went while I stayed at home with the girls and put them to bed. He had a great time and even caught his very first foul ball! He was so proud of himself...silly boy!

So now we wait for a phone call from a school. It's kind of hard because EVERY time Matt's phone rings, I automatically start thinking "This could be it! A JOB interview!" It's very hard to be patient and wait. However, everyday there are more and more teaching jobs being posted online, so Matt continues to apply for anything he is qualified to teach.
