Last night was her first sleep over at a friend's house. This is the first time that she has been ANYWHERE by herself, overnight, without some family member.
Yesterday she was invited to go sleepover at Aria's house. So after dinner, the girls and I went over to Aria's house. All the girls watched a movie, while Laura and I got to hang out and talk. Laura is super sweet and even let the kids have popcorn and ice cream sundaes complete with bananas, strawberries, and whipped cream. The girls had a blast.
After the movie was over, I helped get Adrianne ready for bed and then said "Goodnight". Riley, Emmaline and I went home. It felt so weird to just leave without Adrianne! Adrianne did wonderfully at Aria's house and I was also impressed how well Riley did without having Adrianne in their room to sleep. I was expecting Riley to fuss and cry, but she didn't. She just sang herself to sleep like she always does.
This morning, as I was walking over to pick Adrianne up, I couldn't help but think how big all my girls are getting.
