Not much to report

Everything is quiet around these parts again.

Adrianne had her stitches removed and is now just counting down the days until she can get good and wet in the swimming pool again. (it's been VERY hot...tomorrow's high: 105!)

Riley has been occupied being a pesky-poo. She wants to do everything that her big sister is doing, including trying to help take care of Emmaline, only she usually makes Emmaline MORE upset rather than less.

Emmaline is also busy being a stinker this week. All week long she has been fighting me on taking naps. She really needs to nap, only she doesn't want to. I guess there is just too many fun things to do that makes her want to stay awake. She is continuing to progress more towards crawling. Everyday she's getting a little closer.

One thing Emmaline is NOT liking right now is eating anything other than milk. I can usually get one or two bites of food in before she starts turning her head away and buttoning up her mouth tight. I even caved and tried bananas, thinking maybe she'd eat the food if it was something super sweet, but nope! She just spits all the food right back out and it gets EVERYWHERE. And trust me when I say that bananas are NOT easy to clean out of hair! But I'll keep trying. I keep telling her that she can't eat mommy-milk forever, but I don't think she believes me! Oh well.

Matt is continuing with his summer classes. It's been very intense for him, but I know that he has learned a lot and feels that the classes have really prepared him for teaching in the fall. Now all he needs to do is find a school to teach at! There still aren't many job positions opening up. The people who run the TTF program keep telling all the fellows that it's still early, so we are trying just to hang in there and go with the punches.

And me? Well, I've just been knocking around the house, taking care of the girls. I've also been sewing some more. Right now I've still just been working on diapers for Emmaline, but I think soon I'm going to have to branch out and find something else to start working on since Emmaline has just about all the diapers I think she will ever need! I'll include some pictures of the ones I've sewn so far.
