Sunday was a big day. The girls are participating in choir and had their first performance this morning.
The kids woke up early and were eager to start the day. I had made pumpkin apple muffins the night before so we had that for breakfast. The kids watched a couple of cartoons and then we all got ready for church and headed out.
The church they sang at isn't the usual church we attend. It is much bigger, but very nice. There are actually two stories to their sanctuary. We sat up top so that way we would have a good, clear view of the girls singing. It was funny because the chairs were the kind with the seats that fold down and Max wanted to sit in them but he had to be very careful or else the seat would fold back up and squish him!
After church we all headed back home for lunch and football.
Later in the evening, we went out to the neighborhood playground so the kids could burn off some energy. They had fun running around. Riley was trying to learn how to hit the birdie from a badmittion set Linda had brought with them.
I am still experimenting with the settings on my camera, so I apologize because a few of this are WAAAY too dark and it's difficult to see the children's faces.
