Our family would like to wish everyone a very happy New Year!
I cannot believe it's already time to start another year (and as usual, I am already running a few days behind!).
We had a wonderful holiday season. For Thanksgiving Matt, the kiddos and I went to Dallas to visit my grandparents and aunt and uncle. It was nice having Matt able to tag along as usually he has to stay back and work.
For the Christmas holiday, we had a wonderful time traveling to North Carolina and then later to Ohio. The girls received WAAAAY too many presents (so much in fact that I had to mail home three big boxes, leave some stuff with my parents to bring when they next drive down and our car was still busting at the seams!)
It was so lovely getting to see all our family and old friends. I was a little sad to come back, but now that we are home we are all settling back into our routines. Matt has already returned back to work and the girls and I will start back up with school tomorrow.
Although I am not a resolution making kind of girl, I AM looking forward to what 2012 has in store for our family.
