Every so often, I'll need to know the children's sizes (most often height) for some project I am working on. So I stand them all in front of the laundry room wall and record their measurements.
Here's the current stats:
Adrianne grew half an inch from the last time I measured (which I don't date, so I'm not exactly sure how long ago the last measurement was, but I'm guessing it was sometime in the fall) and is coming in at a lanky 51".
Riley grew a whole inch and is now 45.75"
Emmaline is 35.5" and weighs 25lbs.
Maxton was 31.25" and weighs 23lbs.
I didn't do weight for the older two because they are always weighing in at "skinny", but for the younger two I did since I like to run a growth percentile calculator on them and find out where they fit in amongst their peers.
With Emmaline's stats, she is in the less than 3rd percentile for weight and at the 6th percentile for height. Since she has spent her whole life hanging out at the bottom of the percentile charts, these low numbers are not alarming, but rather confirm that she will most likely be petite her whole life.
Maxton ranks in the 26th percentile for weight and the 49th percentile for height. So he's about average height for a 15 month old and his weight has slipped a bit since the last time I ran his numbers around his birthday. This makes sense because he is VERY ACTIVE and has started slimming down from all the walking/running/climbing he likes to do while some of his peers have yet to take their first steps.
So it appears that I have four happy, healthy, growing children!
