Switching Over To Spring

There hasn't been a whole lot going on, hence the lack of blog posts.

However, the weather is starting to get warmer here (often into the high 70s) so I had to go through the girls clothes and pull out some short sleeved shirts, shorts, and summer dresses for them to wear. Also on my "to-do" list is to go bathing suit shopping for Adrianne and Riley before their grandparents arrive in a week.

I also REALLY need to start working on my container garden. I am determined to get at least ONE thing growing this year, especially since one of the science objectives for Adrianne to learn this year in school is to observe the various life stages of a plant.

I actually went through all the grade requirements for the girls and discovered that we're VERY close to having completed them all. I'm actually glad about this because it will give us some time to re-hash some of the material I think they need to review (like Riley and her math and handwriting) without putting us as far behind when we start next year's school term.

I've also begun purchasing next year's materials. All I can say is: Homeschooling is NOT cheap!
