Spring Cleaning

I'm trying to take advantage of the fact that my in-laws will soon be visiting and get some spring cleaning accomplished. There is SO much that could be done, and I'm sure that not all of it WILL be done before they get here, but I'll do what I can.

Today the girls and I tackled the living room and the toys in their bedroom. The girls sorted through all the toys while I moved furniture around so I could vacuum the entire living room. Then I decided to re-arrange the furniture while I had it all jumbled up. I'm not sure I am going to leave the room as it is though, but I'm going to give it a few days to see if it grows on me.

Mostly my chief complaint with the new arrangement is that there isn't enough open space for Max to play on the floor where I can easily see and contain him to that area. He's getting REALLY good at inch-worming his way around the floors. I can't believe that a baby who is only four months old is moving THIS much. The girls really like the change because it is something different and Matt doesn't seem to care one way or the other so I guess we'll just have to see.

This week is going to be quite full with my spring cleaning wishes along with trying to do some school (to my surprise, we are slightly ahead of schedule so this week we will only be focusing on our unit study, and NOT the 3 R's, although they are incorporated in the unit study a bit), keeping up with an infant and toddler, grocery shopping, and cooking and freezing a couple of extra meals for next week. That doesn't even include my MOPS meeting tomorrow morning.

I have a feeling this is going to be one of those weeks where there just are never enough hours in a day.
