I always put down a blanket on the floor so Max can do his "tummy time". For some reason, it makes me feel better about him playing on the floor without directly laying ON the actual carpet.
But Max has learned to wiggle so much in his play that even though I keep putting down the blanket, it really serves no purpose. He schooches himself about and wanders off the blanket. Other times he bunches the blanket up with his hands in an attempt to get a toy that is just out of reach. In any event, he is rarely actually ON the blanket these days.
I suppose I should just give up and stop putting the blanket down altogether.
