I'm Walking on Sunshine

I've had that song in my head all day long.

For the first time in about two weeks it actually stopped raining and the sun came out. Seriously, it has rained every single day. And it's been cold too (well, for around here anyway. I feel sorry for everybody who's stuck in the snow.) which was a total tease after the wonderful mid-seventies we had for about a week before all the rain and cold set in. So seeing the sunshine was a welcomed event.

The other reason I've been in such a great mood today is that Matt found out he's gotten a job teaching! He went in for an interview on Monday and then got called back on Tuesday for the second interview. Then, the principal called him today and asked him to come in. She is offering him a 5th grade Math position on a probationary period, and then if all goes well, will hire him on full time. So all day long he was at the main office and school getting all his HR stuff taken care of because he's set to start on Monday. We are both really excited!
