They Don't Stay Little For Long!

Today was a rather busy day around here.

This morning we had our MOPS meeting. It was the first time that my MOPS friends got to see Max and of course everyone was "oooohing" and "ahhing" over how sweet, cute and LITTLE he is. Everyone also kept commenting on how much hair he has, which I find very funny because compared to Adrianne and Emmaline he is practically bald! He did great the whole meeting and hardly made a peep. Of course the girls always have fun going to our MOPS meetings as they get to see and play with their little friends while they are there.

After our MOPS meeting, I had to quickly feed the girls lunch because we had to head out to an appointment for Max's check up.

Max is doing great! His heart sounded great, breathing good, and all his reflexes are right on track. He is really strong and already exhibiting great head control. He is having enough wet and dirty diapers (I could have told you that!).

And then he was weighed.

Max is up to 10 lbs 1 oz! In 12 days this boy has gained 1lb 10 oz (remember, he started out at 8lbs 7 oz) which is really quite amazing as most newborns lose weight at first and are just now getting back up to their original birth weights.

So it appears that Max has no intention on staying little for very long.

After the appointment we headed home so that Emmaline could take her nap while I spent the rest of the day catching up on laundry. What can I say. It's a glamorous life I lead!
