That it's a BOY!
Oh my goodness I still can't quite wrap my mind around the fact that soon we'll have a little boy in this house! What on earth am I going to do with a BOY??? I have been in the land of pink and all things girlie for so long that it's hard to even imagine someone who will like trucks and dinosaurs and BUGS for crying out loud! (However, the bug thing will come in handy since I hate killing bugs and I figure at least I can convince a boy to move the bug outside so I don't have to wait until Matt comes home from work to deal with it! I know, I am a baby!)
For the time being, this poor little guy is nameless. Matt and I have been totally unable to come up with ANY names that we both really like. He's suggested things like Blaise (say "Blaze") after Blaise Pascal (yes, I married a dork!) or Søren (yes, after Søren Kierkegaard, and he said he would INSIST that people always use the "ø" whenever writing down his name!), however both those names got nixed by me because I didn't like the meaning of the names. Anything I've suggested, Matt's been less than thrilled with. It's REALLY HARD picking a boy name, especially since we don't really want anything super common, but anything that's even slightly unique sounds forced and strange.
Besides the name picking trouble, everything is going great around here. The girls and I had a wonderful time visiting with my family at my grandma's house. Since coming back home I've been trying to start preparing (even if only mentally for now) for our big trip to OH/VA/NC. I can't believe that we leave in one week! There is MUCH to do before then, so I know I'll be a busy bee!
