It's HOT outside, but from the looks of the weather maps, I think it's pretty much hot everywhere right now.
When we got home from our trip, I realized that the grass in the backyard is FRIED. As in you get the nice crunchy sound whenever you step on it. I guess I need to water it, but I must admit I am sulking at the thought of paying for the water to attempt to revive it.
Yesterday I discovered that we have a peach tree in the backyard. We've been here a little over two years and this is the first time I've ever seen evidence of mature fruit on it. So far they aren't suitable for eating (either not ripe enough yet or spoiled because birds/bugs got to them) but I'll know to keep an eye on the tree from now on.
Maxton's daily mission is to see just how many things he can get himself into!
She did it! Riley can now ride a bike. She has also become quite the avid reader and DEVOURS books.
Adrianne is one of the best big sister's around. She is currently learning to conquer cursive writing!
So much sweetness and sassiness all wrapped up in one package! Emmaline has now started preschool!
