Hard at work!

I had a very busy day yesterday, even though I never even left the house. It mostly involved lots and lots of cleaning and reorganizing things around the house. I spent a large chunk of the day rearranging some extra furniture that Matt had brought home after helping a friend move while the girls and I were in Dallas visiting my family. We are not going to keep it all, but Matt wants to take some of it to his classroom at school, so until he gets his keys to his class next week, it all had to go somewhere.

After I got the living room acceptable, I started tackling Emmaline's room. Since Emmaline still sleeps in a crib, her room has been used for nothing more than a sleeping area for her and a catch-all room for the remainder of the clutter that finds it's way into our house. But that all needs to change since I need to start working on getting her transitioned to a toddler bed so that little brother can have the crib to sleep in when he arrives. I managed to make a sizable dent in that mess last night and would say I'm about 80% done clearing out the room of all the things that don't really belong in a child's room.

After all that hard work yesterday, I was pretty tired so I even went to bed much earlier than I normally do (well, rather I fell asleep on the couch and then Matt woke me up as he was on his way to bed). I'd like to say that I'm all done getting this place in order for a new baby, but alas I cannot. There is still PLENTY I want to get done before little brother arrives, fortunately I've still got around 11 weeks to do it in!
